LED Color Changing Mood Strip controller comes with a wireless infrared (IR) remote control. The remote altogether has 24 keys: ON/OFF key, brighten light key, dimming light key, 15 color plus white fixed mode keys and 4 keys that select consecutive change patterns: flash, strobe, fade and smooth. Increasing light and reducing light only has an effect under fixed modes. The controller supports up to 72 watts. With a 12w power supply will support 2 strips, with a 36 watt power supply (supplied) will support up to 8 strips and with an optional 72 watt power supply it will support up to 16 strips or 8 meters.

I bought these strip lights initially to use behind my samsung 50 inch Plasma TVSamsung PN50B650 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV since i saw other reviews on how this led lights complemented the Plasma TV experience.
Order arrived as scheduled and packaging was compact neat and easty to open. Instructions came with this but its a simple Plug and use product. As soon as I light them up I new I was in for trouble because they looked great right in my living room. Normally these fixtures are used for white, chill out , lounge style furniture I lve in a very VERY Caribean oriented deco Apt so these lights were not an option for my living room until I saw them. I quickly mounted them behing my extended lat table in our Living room using double tape ( thought it came attached but was nor sure so used my own/ the 3M tape attached to the strips look like they are there to cover electrical chips form the strips.
Plugged them in and faced the table with the lights facing the front towards the wall. The effect was amazing! I Put a couple of Cristal objects on top and it looked even better!! I have guests over often so this table will become my Party Bar.Flash Mode creates a great ambiance for a get toghether with some friends!
As soon as I set my next party up Ill make pictures with a coule of Grey Goose botles and White rum Margaritas. This WILL indeed be the talk of the Party.
I am so pleased with this product my only complain is that I now have to buy ANOTHER set For my TV I did not even try it it on so guess Ill be spending more money!!!

EagleLights LED strips are great for many purposes. I installed 2 of them in my home theater specifically for the constant white setting. I would recommend them to anyone who dosn’t mind the price for the luxury of this item. The colors are very vibrant and look beatiful when reflected off the walls. The quality of this product is outstanding. There are a few things I would change to make these easier to install. The wires that lead to the LED strips are very short and dont allow the placement of multiple strips easy. The IR receiver is also a very short wire and although it is very important to have the end of this wire in sight with your remote, again is will make the placement of the LED strips difficult. My last complaint is the bright light on the wall outlet AC adapter. I had to cover it so the light would not be seen behind the TV. Luckily for my application, everything was placed in great location with no issues except the IR receiver would be better off in a different location than it is now. I will buy more in the future.

Several years ago I purchased a similar LED strip light kit (not flexible) from IKEA for about $50. I loved it, decided I wanted more, and this kit was the closest I could find to that IKEA kit I purchased.
The quality of the LEDs are fantastic, they are very bright and vibrant. The controller on the other hand kinda sucks. The dimmer control doesn’t work well, it seems to cycle the leds through a mere two brightness settings that are so close to one another that you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if it weren’t for the flash that occurs during the transition. Also, the color buttons on the remote don’t really indicate the colors they will produce (for example, pressing the yellow button will cause the strips to illuminate in white. One of the orange buttons produces pink, etc). Also, and the biggest disappointment for me, is that the modes that automatically cycle the lights through all of the colors are all choppy and abrupt. The IKEA strips I got would fade slowly and seamlessly from one color to the next in a very relaxing and hypnotic manner – these dim for a second or two and then quickly jump to the next color – and yes I was using the fade and slow functions. The faster stroke and flash functions work fine.
Overall I will keep them because I purchased them to backlight my computer monitors and plan on keeping them the same color all the time. I will not be buying more for the rest of my needs though.
So to sum up my experience:
Pros:
* Bright!
* Vibrant, saturated colors
* A remote control
* Flexible led strips make mounting easy
* No high-pitched whine from controller or power supply
Cons:
* Dimming function doesn’t work properly – and these are bright!
* All of the fade features are rather fast and abrupt. Not seamless at all.
* Colored buttons on remote don’t all correspond to output color when pressed
* Connecting wires less than a foot long means you either have to mount the strips next to each other or make your own extension cables.

I love my LED Strip light kit from Eaglelight. The shipping was as quick as the rest of my order from Amazon, and it arrived in a compact box with clear instructions. Setup was much easier than I thought it would be, and involved plugging the adapter into the wall, and either plugging each strip into the controller unit, or you can connect the strips together to form one long one (which is what I would up doing).
I placed them behind my newly purchased Ladoro Translucent Shelving Kit from a local brick and mortar store. When I bought these, I knew that the plastic, translucent shelves were prime for a unique lighting treatment, and my quest led me to purchase these.
Let me tell you, the kit looks awesome with these shelves. The LEDs are bright, and have 3 brightness control settings. The remote is compact and works well, and you can pick from the 4 main colors (red, blue, green, or white – each of which is especially intense and vibrant), a choice of 12 preset colors which are a mix of the main colors, or 4 different modes that change colors.
-Flash – rapidly transitions solid colors
-Strobe – slowly transitions solid colors
-Fade – slowly fades into each color
-Smooth – quickly fades into each color.
I use mainly white or the Fade/Smooth effect in my room. The white is clean and excellent for helping to light a space, while the transitions add fun and excitement to the room, while not being too distracting.
I will try to post pictures of my application of the lights. For any application, however, I highly recommend this kit, and probably will be purchasing additional strips in the near future.
